Bruce Swedien — the multi-GRAMMY-winning engineer and producer of Michael Jackson’s records — inducts Ashish Manchanda into the Full Sail University Hall of Fame.
Biography
Ashish Manchanda is a music producer and mixing engineer, a drummer, and a producer of live concerts and broadcast music, working between the United States and India.

He has mixed and produced over 150 film soundtracks, and was Audio Turnkey Director for MTV Unplugged India and Coke Studio India from 2010 to 2018 — two of the shows that defined how live music is recorded and broadcast in the country.
He founded Flying Carpet Productions in 1999, co-founded Boon Castle Media & Entertainment in 2017, and is co-founder and joint chief executive of Win Iconic Ventures. He is also founder and director of The Media Tribe, the sound engineering, music production and songwriting institute, and he launched Totem Pole, India’s first family-friendly, substance-free music festival.
Ashish was brought into the Invincible sessions by Bruce Swedien, the multi-GRAMMY-winning engineer and producer of Michael Jackson’s records, and is featured in Mr. Swedien’s book In the Studio with Michael Jackson. He graduated from Full Sail University as Valedictorian, taking seven Course Director’s Awards and the Outstanding Achievement Award, and was later inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame.
He is a four-time recipient of the IRAA (Indian Recording Arts Award) — best mix engineer, movie soundtrack ‘Dev D’ and debut album by Sona Mohapatra; best music co-producer for artist Alif; best live sound engineer, Coke Studio / MTV Unplugged / A.R. Rahman. He is a voting member of the Recording Academy.
Alongside the studio work he builds at the join between media and technology. Design Thinking: From Insights to Viability — Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education; the Innovation Accelerator at Chapman University; the Venture Accelerator at UCLA Anderson.
